Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the York Performance Award, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Open to International (including EU) and UK (home) students.
  • Enrolled in the School of Arts and Creative Technologies at the University of York.
  • The project should be distinctive and ambitious, showcasing prior collaboration among team members.
  • At least four University of York students must be involved, with roles including performers, technicians, or producers.
  • The lead applicant must be an undergraduate or postgraduate student in either English and Related Literature or the School of Arts and Creative Technologies.
  • Performances must take place before 1 July 2025, with at least one performance held in York.
  • Applicants must provide a detailed plan and cost breakdown, including how the funding will be used and its impact.
