The University of the Arts London is happy to announce the UAL Storytelling Fellowship 2024-2025 in partnership with DocSociety. This fellowship is designed to empower visionary storytellers committed to leveraging their creative talents for social change across diverse disciplines. Background

The UAL Storytelling Fellowship 2024-2025 offers a unique opportunity for storytellers dedicated to creating social change through their creative projects. Developed in collaboration with DocSociety, this fellowship aims to equip fellows with skills in impact production across various creative disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the UAL Storytelling Fellowship, applicants must:

  • Have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the fellowship.
  • Be able to attend in-person sessions in London.
  • Commit to the entire programme duration.
  • Be actively engaged in disciplines such as TV, fiction film, novels, non-fiction writing, journalism, theatre, XR/immersive/interactive, games, audio/podcasts, animation, comic books, or creative documentaries.
  • Present a fully developed project that has not yet launched, demonstrating a clear artistic vision and a focus on creating social impact.
  • Be fluent in English.
