  • Intend to study in any discipline, with preference for:

    • Classics

    • History

    • Modern Languages

  • Must demonstrate financial need (means-tested).

  • Open to Scotland home, Rest of UK, and Overseas students.

  • Applicable across a wide range of schools at the university (including Arts, Sciences, Medicine, etc.)

  2. Wait approximately 2 working days after your course application for the university to issue your login to the My Application portal.

  3. Once logged in, go to:

    • Scholarships and Funding → View and continue my scholarships

    • Select the Lumsden and Katherine Smith Scholarships

  4. Complete and submit your application by Friday 13 June 2025.

Note: You do not need to wait for an offer of admission to apply for the scholarship.
