Academic Requirements

• Hold an offer to study an undergraduate degree starting September 2026.

• All courses are eligible except:

  • Medicine (A100/A101)

  • Dentistry (A200)

  • MArch programmes considered postgraduate

Fee Status & Funding

• Be self-funded and classified as an overseas fee-paying student.

• Must not be a sponsored student.

• Must enter the university in Year 1 only.

University & IDA Requirements

• Choose the University of Sheffield as firm or insurance choice by 3 June 2026 4 PM UK time.

• Must be signed with the Inspire Development Academy at the point of registration.

• Must remain with IDA for the full duration of your course.

Other Requirements

• Must attend the IDA Spring Break Camp from 15–21 March 2026, which includes in-person assessment.

  • Registration deadline: 6 March 2026.

• No cash alternative tuition fee discount only.

• Cannot be combined with:

  • Any university departmental/faculty scholarship

  • External sponsorships except Inspire Development Academy or repayable loans

• Not applicable during:

  • Year abroad

  • Year in industry

  • Intercalating years

• Cannot be deferred or transferred to another entry year.

• Changing degree programme may forfeit eligibility.

• If joining via clearing, the award becomes invalid.
