Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the UCL East London Scholarship, you must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be ordinarily resident in the UK or Ireland and eligible for Home fee status.

  • Have submitted a complete application (including references) for an eligible postgraduate taught programme starting in 2025/26.

  • Have a household income of £42,875 or less.

  • Have been a permanent resident since 2020 or have completed GCSE or A-levels in one of the following East London boroughs:

    • Hackney

    • Newham

    • Tower Hamlets

    • Waltham Forest
