Eligibility Criteria

The Salutem Scholarship is available to students with home fee status enrolled in the following undergraduate programs:

  • BSc Accounting & Finance
  • BSc Learning Disability Nursing
  • BSc Psychology
  • BA Social Work

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Hold home fee status
  • Meet specific priority criteria set by Kingston University, including:
  • Being a first-generation university student in your family
  • Qualifying as a mature student (aged 21 or older without a bachelor’s degree)
  • Having a family household income of less than £25,000 per year
  • Identifying as disabled or having a specific learning difference
  • Being under 25 and having experience in UK care or estrangement from family
  • Being recognized as a young adult carer by social services
  • Entering higher education primarily with a BTEC qualification

Benefits

Successful applicants may receive funding covering the full value of tuition fees (home fee status) and/or a maintenance grant. Additionally, scholars will have the opportunity to gain practical experience within Salutem’s services, enhancing their learning with hands-on skills and mentorship.
