This scholarship is part of a strategic initiative to integrate experienced sonographers into the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) framework, supporting national healthcare delivery while enhancing individual professional development.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must:

• Be internationally qualified sonographers.

• Either be:

  • Recruited through NHSE’s CDC International Sonographer strategy, or

  • Currently employed in the NHS as a non-obstetrics sonographer.

• Have secured a UK NHS clinical placement (minimum of 14 hours/week) beginning September 2025.

• Fulfil King’s College London’s standard eligibility criteria, including English language proficiency.

3. Pay a non-refundable application fee of £85.

   • Two references, one from current NHS employer
