The Bseisu Scholarship is part of a broader initiative to empower students from the Middle East by providing them with access to world-class education. Sponsored in collaboration with Imperial College London and the Chevening programme, this scholarship is designed to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who demonstrate outstanding academic potential and leadership qualities.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be ordinarily resident in or hold citizenship of Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, or Jordan.
- Have received an offer of admission for a one-year full-time MSc degree in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Natural Sciences, or Imperial College Business School by 6th March 2025 (MRes and MBA courses are not eligible).
- Demonstrate that they come from a financially disadvantaged background.
- Be available to commence their studies in the UK by September 2025.
- Meet Imperial College’s English language requirements by 25th July 2025 (Pre-sessional English courses are not supported by this scholarship).
- Preference is given to applicants with at least two years of work experience.
Benefits

Application Process
The application process consists of two stages:
Stage 1: Apply for an MSc at Imperial College London
- Submit an application for one of the eligible master’s degree programs through Imperial College’s standard application procedure.
- Ensure you receive an offer of admission by 6th March 2025.
- Check if you are required to pay an application fee (waivers may be available).
Stage 2: Apply for the Scholarship
- Eligible applicants with an offer will receive an email invitation to apply for the scholarship by 17th March 2025.

- Complete and submit the Bseisu Scholarship application form by 11:59 pm BST, 4th April 2025.
- Applicants will be assessed on academic merit, financial background, and work experience.
