The international Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship (International) is currently available for Vietnamese or Thai postgraduate taught applicants to the University of Winchester who, as part of their UK studies, contribute to the University’s international strategy. The University of Winchester is a public research university and offers a safe and supportive global community for international students.
Eligibility
To be considered for the award of a scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria for residence and academic standing:
They must be foreign nationals of a country outside the European Union or British Nationals whose residence history makes them liable to pay tuition fees as international students. Only applicants applying for full-time programmes at Undergraduate or Taught Postgraduate Level are eligible. Applicants for
ELTSU programmes (including the International Foundation Programme and the Certificate in English for International Students) are not eligible.
Award details
The University of Winchester awards Up to £5,000 to international students. The Scholarships constitute a reduction in tuition fees of no more than £1,000 per annum.

Application Process and Deadline
The deadline for completed application forms, for the forthcoming academic year, is 30 June unless notified otherwise.

Selection process
The University of Winchester will inform candidates whether or not they have been successful immediately after the meeting of the Scholarship Committee. Successful candidates will be expected to send written acceptance of an offer of a Scholarship within four weeks of the Scholarship Committee meeting.
